I haven't played this a lot but enough to have an opinion.I love the game, the handling of the karts are on point and you can just sit and drive the same track for 50 laps and change driving style and setup, you ACM really feel every mistakeThe con is that is is expensive, not many people buy it so the servers are empty, I think if you would lower the price to 20\u20ac more people would buy it and more racing would be possible. One other thing is that you can add ai so you can race offline, I know this isn't a big studio and probably doesn't have the revenue but it would be cool.. needs more work and more trucks to practice on like Le mans a very deficalt truck. Let me start by saying I play this on the HTC Vive (VR), and I am super happy with my purchase! 2 BIG thumbs up! Kart Racing Pro strikes an elegant balance between realistic and fun (this balance is not easily achieved by most racing simulators). I hooked up the Logitech G29 steering wheel/pedals, and it worked beautifully! I wasn't able to get the separate gear shifter to map, but I'm totally fine with that. Perhaps the developer can provide that mapping in a later release.Overall, this game is a blast. It's worth the $39.99 (especially since you can race online multiplayer). Also, you can set up private hosting matches as well.. Whilst far from perfect, I don't think a lot of the reviews do this game justice and it has a lot of potential. After initially being disappointed at the number of available trakcs, I was very happy to find a bunch of community made tracks from my home country (see https://www.dropbox.com/sh/s32hw0r6yc5av0f/AAAnCS-Fc5GmW-M0POZtc5K6a/KRP%20Tracks?dl=0 for example). It seems like a shame to have all these without a good way to access them (e.g. steam workshop or equivalent). Works really well with my T150 wheel and the steam controller gyroscope. Seemed to require some tweaking to get an xbox controller to work well; a bit of a shame it doesn't default to a decent setup.I'm no expert, but on the default 20C temperature setting it didn't feel or act like any gokart I've ever driven and I was initially a bit disappointed. Down at 10C it seems to behave far more like what I've experienced in real life and I started having a lot of fun. This may just be the kart I'm using, I can't say yet.The more I play the more fun I have. I guess the next time I'm on an actual track will be a good test to see if this sim is helping me improve in real life.. This is a great simulator i got it yearsago in early development, i run the 8bitgamers servers , once you get used to control your cart and set up your wheel , you can cut your lap times down by tenths of a second, when you start off you will be spinning your cart left right and center but get it right and you'll really like this simso in summary GET your wheel settings setup correctly you'll love this sim !. Feel is realistic. Graphics unfortunately seem like from the 90's. Still waiting for ai and for new liveries, engines, tracks. No noticeable updates since I bought this game 6-7 yrs ago.. IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE BUYING: If you are getting this game and expecting to hop online and get first place with no knowledge of kart racing. Then you would be wrong. First and formost this game is for kart racers or people interested in karting to experience the most immersive racing. And on the simulation side of the game you won't find anything like it. It is 100% best kart game I have played and most realistic. (coming from a kart racer myself) But right now there is little to no people playing on servers. So if you do expect to do races on servers make sure you have friends to race with. Because you won't find any just sitting around. So yes I do recomend this game for kart racers or people that are that big of fans of karting. If not DONT GET IT!
